## The coffee

- Origin: 100% Colombian Supremo Arabica (Supremo is Colombia's largest bean-size grade). Single origin. No blends of other origins.
- Roast: medium-dark, German Norwegian style. Roasted in a cast iron drum roaster on our family farm, in a barn that has been in the family since 1944. Beans come out at different points, so every batch holds a spread of roast levels.
- Taste: customers describe it as smooth, bold and low in acid, with no bitterness to speak of. Many drink it black.
- One coffee only: no decaf, no flavored coffee, nothing added.
- Ground coffee is one medium-fine grind that works for every brew method, espresso included. Whole bean is there for grinding at home.
- Every order includes a printed copy of our family newspaper, Der Hoffskeller Times.

## Buying

- Add to cart on the product page, then guest checkout: email and a US shipping address, no account. Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe.
- Order confirmation and tracking come by email.

## Shipping

- USPS from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, to US addresses only.
- Free on orders of $50 or more. Under $50, shipping is figured by weight and distance at checkout, usually $4 to $10.
- Orders typically leave the farm within a few business days. Delivery times are estimates.

## Returns

- Roasted coffee is a perishable food, so we can't accept returns and sales are final.
- If an order arrives damaged, ruined or incorrect, email info@hoffskeller.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo, and we will make it right with a replacement or refund.

## Subscriptions

- Weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly, at the lower subscription price. The Mason jars are one-time only.

## Brewing basics

- Start with two tablespoons of ground coffee per six ounces of water, then adjust to taste.
- A pound makes about 35 eight-ounce cups at standard strength (an estimate).
- Store it airtight in a cool, dark place, like a Mason jar in the cupboard.
