Great Black — No Cream, No Sugar Needed

Most amazing plain black coffee around! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Went from having to mix 3 different coffee to only using Der Hoffskeller. My husband loves it as he now knows the joy of just drink black coffee.

Their coffee is THE only coffee I can drink black. Love it.

I have been buying their whole bean coffee and absolutely love it. I've always had coffee with cream. Just tried a sample of their coffee, black, at a craft fair. Wow, it was quite good and I've never liked black coffee!

We live in the area and stopped in the coffee barn after hearing about Der Hoffskeller. Coffee was delicious, and we loved the vibe of the barn and warmth of the fireplace on a chilly morning. My wife usually doesn’t drink her coffee black, but said it was delicious just black. It was also interesting to learn about the history of the farm and how Der Hoffskeller was started.

A friend brought me a jar of coffee she picked up at Der Hoffskeller and now I can't wait to get out there for myself! The coffee was so good, I almost wanted to drink it black, when I normally love creamer and sugar in mine.

Warm weather got us out of Burlington for a little shopping and sightseeing after Valentine's Day. Stopped in the rustic barn at Der Hoffskeller to try some coffee. Bought some beans to take home.

I drink my coffee black. My personal favorite bean is Ethiopian for its almost sweet, smooth flavor. I like light roasts for their lack of bitterness compared to dark roasts. What did I think? First, it's a cute space here, and it will be exciting to visit here in the country as things develop. I enjoyed the coffee there. Ground some at home and ran it through my Coulee coffee maker. I prefer my coffee tasting bold, and this followed very well in my wheel house. It is not bitter. It has a really nice after taste that I enjoy, but it is a little different. It's not "smokey" or "woody" tasting, it's not chocolate like. Just good, hardy coffee flavor!

Der Hoffskeller is a hidden gem! If you love coffee this place is amazing! Cute little barn made into a coffee house with games books video games sports on tv and very friendly service! A great place for an excellent cup of coffee and good conversation. There are not many places where you can drink a black cup of coffee and have it taste great.

Such a creative & relaxed atmosphere in an old barn that was renovated inside to be a little coffee shop. They only serve black coffee with sugar and creamer but the coffee was AMAZING and I left with a pint of it.
Only thing was that they were roasting beans inside the sitting area so it was smokey which would be bad for sensitive people.
Overall, very good coffee and family owned.

I just bought this coffee this weekend and it is the best coffee I have ever had in my life. I always put cream in my coffee, but I don't have to with this coffee and there's no acidity. Thank you.

We were there Sunday. Brothers are great guys with delicious coffee. Never drank a full cup of black coffee till now.
