Wholesale Coffee for Milwaukee and Ozaukee County Businesses, Roasted in Cedarburg

Der Hoffskeller is a family coffee roaster in Cedarburg, in Ozaukee County just north of Milwaukee, and any business can buy our coffee online with no account, no application and no minimum. Order on the website and it ships by USPS. Our 20 lb bulk bag is $250 as a one-time order, $12.50 a pound, or $230 on a subscription, and it always ships free.

We roast one coffee in cast iron on our family's farm, in a barn that has been in the family since 1944, and we have sold it at more than 250 farmers markets. This page is for cafes, restaurants, offices and shops in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha counties that want a local roaster without a sales call.

How a business orders, in three steps

  1. Pick a size and whole bean or ground, then choose One-time order or a delivery schedule. The links on this page open the right option. A plain product page starts on a monthly subscription, so check the option before you add it to the cart.
  2. Check out as a guest. All you need is an email address and a shipping address. There is no company name field, so type your business name with your name or on the Apt, suite line. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe.
  3. Watch for the box. Orders are typically roasted, packed and handed to USPS within a few business days. Those times are estimates, not guarantees. Your confirmation email lists what you ordered and the total, and a tracking email follows when it ships.

No account, no application, no approval and no minimum. Any business may buy our coffee, serve it and resell it, starting the day the box arrives. Questions are welcome on our contact page, but you never need to ask before you order. Online orders are limited to 60 items; for more, call 414-375-5804.

Prices: one price list for everyone

Every business pays the same posted prices. There is no separate wholesale price, no account tier and no coupon. Bulk is the discount: the 20 lb Bulk bag has the lowest price per pound.

SizeOne-timePer lbSubscriptionPer lbEach extra one in the same order
The Hoff, 1 lb$25$25.00$22$22.00No extra discount
Big Hoff Bag, 2 lb$34$17.00$30$15.00$4 off
Queen Hoff, 3.5 lb$60$17.14$52$14.86$10 off
King Hoff, 7 lb$105$15.00$95$13.57$10 off
Bulk, 20 lb$250$12.50$230$11.50No extra discount

Every size comes whole bean or ground, and the links in the table open whole bean as a one-time order. Three things lower the price, and only these three: a bigger size, the subscription price, and the extra-unit discount, which takes $4 off each additional Big Hoff Bag and $10 off each additional Queen or King Hoff of the same kind in one order. Shipping is free on orders of $50 or more, so every Queen, King and Bulk order ships free. To taste it first, the Little Hoff half pound is $15.

What that means per cup, as an estimate: at standard strength, about 35 eight-ounce cups per pound (the SCA golden cup ratio), a 20 lb Bulk bag makes roughly 700 cups, about 33 cents a cup at the $230 subscription price. At diner strength, up to about 64 cups per pound, the same bag stretches to roughly 1,280 cups, about 18 cents a cup. Your brewer and recipe decide the real number.

Who already pours and sells it

You may have had our coffee without knowing it. LemonZello serves it (see our cafes page), and Main Street Market and The Purple Turtle carry it on their shelves (see stores). You may also know us from a farmers market. We have sold coffee at more than 250 of them, and most of the markets we visit now are in the four counties around Milwaukee. Two customers who took it to work:

“Had a cup at the Port Washington Winter market on Saturday. Liked it so much, we drove to the farm for another cup and bought some grounds for work and home.”
Mike K, Google, December 2025

“Ordered a 2lb bag for my office. Brewed some this morning and it was fantastic!”

One coffee, one grind for every brewer

We make one coffee: 100% Colombian Supremo Arabica (the largest bean-size grade), roasted medium-dark in what we call the German Norwegian style. We roast it in cast iron in small batches and ship it close to its roast date. Customers describe it as smooth and low in acid. There is no decaf and no flavored coffee, and we are a state licensed coffee roaster.

Ground coffee comes in one medium-fine grind, and it works for every way of brewing: drip machines, urns, pour-over, French press, cold brew and espresso. Whole bean is there if you grind in house. Read how the roast works in what cast iron roasted coffee is, and the history behind it in Wisconsin coffee.

A standing order on a schedule

For a regular order, choose a weekly, every 2 weeks or monthly subscription and pay the lower subscription price on every delivery. Subscriptions have a two-delivery minimum. You manage deliveries online through a secure link we email you: skip one, pause, move a date earlier or change sizes. All subscription items in one order share one schedule.

Two estimates for sizing. An office of 25, assuming about two-thirds of the team drinks two 8-ounce cups each workday at standard strength, uses about 4 to 5 pounds a week, close to one 20 lb Bulk bag a month. A restaurant open seven days and brewing 12 half-gallon pots a day at diner strength, about 2 ounces of coffee per pot, goes through about 1.5 pounds a day, roughly 10.5 pounds a week, or about one Bulk bag every 2 weeks. More in the best coffee for the office, and every size on our page for wholesale coffee for restaurants, offices and shops.

Questions from Milwaukee-area businesses

Do you deliver in Milwaukee?

We do not offer local delivery. Every online order ships by USPS from Cedarburg, the same as orders anywhere in the United States. To get coffee in person, visit the barn at 1040 Sherman Road, open every day from 9 to 5, or find us at a farmers market.

Do I need a wholesale account or an application?

No. There is no account, no application, no approval and no minimum. Check out as a guest with your email and shipping address, and start serving when the box arrives.

Can my store resell your coffee?

Yes. Any business may buy, serve and resell Der Hoffskeller coffee, no permission needed. Main Street Market and The Purple Turtle already carry it.

Is there a business discount or a code?

No. Everyone pays the same posted prices. The savings come from bigger sizes, the subscription price and the extra-unit discount. The 20 lb Bulk bag is the lowest per pound, at $12.50 one-time or $11.50 on a subscription.

How large an order can I place online?

Up to 60 items in one order. For more, call us at 414-375-5804.

How fast will it arrive?

Orders typically go out within a few business days, and those times are estimates, not guarantees. Order a little before you run low, or set up a subscription.

Can I put my business name on the order?

Yes. Checkout has no company field, so type your business name with your name or on the Apt, suite line of the shipping address.

Whole bean or ground?

Ground works for every brewer, espresso included, so you can order it ground whatever you brew with. Choose whole bean if you grind in house.

Order for your business

Pick a size, choose One-time order or a schedule, and check out with no account. Our 20 lb bulk bags come whole bean or ground and ship free. Or stop by the barn any day from 9 to 5 and have a cup first. Prost from Sherman Road.
