Since our beginning, we have sold coffee at more than 250 farmers markets, which is why we call ourselves Wisconsin’s Farmers Market Coffee. We are also based on a farm in Cedarburg that has been in our family since 1944, and our shop is in the bottom of a barn, styled after German Rathskellers.
Our relatives were farmers, and our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents sold produce at many of the same Wisconsin farmers markets we attend to thisΒ day. So we have a long history with both Wisconsin farms and farmers markets.
Our coffee is meant to taste like the coffee of pre-industrialization, a nod to the same style of coffee the first Wisconsin settlers would have drank. We only roast in cast iron, with a technique that tastes exactly like classic stovetop roasted coffee.
We also sell our coffee in Mason jars, which is how many Wisconsin settlers would have stored their own coffee to keep it fresh.
Check out our farmers market schedule to find us at a farmers market, or order a jar online and we’ll ship it to you!
