We call our only roast style a “German Norwegian Blend” because Germans traditionally prefer darker roasts while Norwegians prefer a lighter variety. Our roasting style creates a spectrum of levels from the dark German to the lighter Norwegian level, all within one roast. We also roast our coffee in cast iron just like when coffee first arrived in Germany and Norway in the 17th century. Our coffee is meant to taste exactly like coffee would have tasted in those days… the German Norwegian blend.
